Friday 3rd May 2019.

Started with the painting of Sunflower, got the 2nd coat of primer on. 

Carrying on with the trailer refurbishment,the wheels are looking amazing! 

As Sunflower is back in the workshop for her bottom painting, we thought we’d do a bit of trailer refurbishment too.  

The mahogany boat hook we were given as a gift has had a bit of a makeover, sanded, restained and varnished. Now looking fabulous. 

A vintage ‘Sirram’ picnic hamper for Sunflower, just needs a bit of tlc.

Foundry in a box today, maybe we found another way to replicate our medallions.

We came third with our replica medallions in the additive manufacturing finishing competition. Such an achievement considering the other amazing entries. 

This week we are at a conference in the USA for the Additive Manufacturing Industry and this evening we entered a competition with our replica medallions.

Sunflower is just about finished! Looking absolutely fabulous! Sunflower also had a visitor today, our lovely neighbour Wendy.  Back to the boat shed tomorrow! 

The battery tray is finished just needs installing in the boat.
